Raytown Real Estate Market
Raytown homes for sale are a popular choice for many buyers in the area because of their affordability. In this market, buyers will find that their dollar goes a long way towards the comfort of their families and the high quality of living they experience daily. Most houses in this market are valued between $100,000 and $200,000, although many houses can be found for less than that.
Inside, many of these homes feature luxury elements such as granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, alarm systems, and remodeled kitchens. Many bathrooms are equipped with extra-deep soaker tubs and his-and-hers sinks. With three, four, five bedrooms, these houses make comfortable homes to raise families as well as entertain in. While the main housing type in Raytown is single family residences, it is possible to find a few apartment complexes and condos in the area as well.
Situated on spacious lots, many of these single family houses enjoy the benefit of being surrounded by mature deciduous trees which offer increased privacy. Spacious yards also provide residents with a space where they can barbecue in the summer, swim in backyard pools, enjoy mild summer evenings while watching the stars, and let their dog out to play.
Raytown homes for sale are a fantastic first home for young buyers on a budget. Because Raytown enjoys a close proximity to Kansas City, many who live within the community opt to commute each day and take advantage of the wealth of career opportunities available in the larger center. Raytown has also been voted one of the best cities for retirees to live in, and older buyers will find plenty of housing opportunities that fit their needs, tastes, and lifestyle.
Raytown Local Amenities
Many residents are first drawn to Raytown because of the affordability. Housing costs are greatly reduced, and the cost of living is calculated to be sixteen percent less than the national average. However, many are convinced to stay by the convenient lifestyle, the caring community, and the continuing economic development.
Along Blue Parkway, residents can find most of their daily amenities without having to stray too far from home. There, residents will find a grocery store, several restaurants, department stores, gas stations, banks, and other helpful services. For any other shopping needs that residents have, they can take the short drive to Kansas City where a plethora of shops are settled, restaurants produce flavors from all over the world, and arts and entertainment flourish.
At present, the City of Raytown is working to revitalize the Raytown Central Business District which is located on the intersection of 63rd Street and Raytown Road. Redevelopment of the area will make it more pedestrian friendly and more conducive to retail and commercial activity.
