September gets off with a riveting start as Kansas City honors Irish heritage with three days of merrymaking and entertainment at Crown Center. In addition to live music from top Irish artists, special performances celebrating Celtic culture delight attendees year after year. The Kansas City Irish Fest may not have a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, but guests 21 years and older can find golden libations within the Jameson Irish Whiskey Tasting Tent. American Royal World Series of Barbecue - Sept. 12-15
